I'm also grateful for the characters of Alisaie and Alphinaud from Final Fantasy XIV. They are identical twin siblings and both are wonderful role models for me, because they are very determined each in their own ways and don't give up. I could use some of their strength right now, but at the very least, they bring me a lot of joy.
Also bringing me joy: Colin Ryan, Alphinaud's voice actor who's streaming his very first playthrough of the game. He didn't start voicing the character until the first expansion, and even then, there's a lot of the story he doesn't know because only about a third of the lines are voiced. It's been such a delight watching him experience the story, especially when something clicks in his brain and something he only knew a bit about suddenly makes sense.

This year I got back to Habitica as the habit/task manager, but yet again I got bored with its gamification, and I only really need the daily checklist... Obsidian allows to make it more compact and customizable, with your own colours and sections, and no need to jump through the hoops to make some of the items optional.
